Causality.

I have noticed something.
How certain events are connected.

When this device looks like this:

This device makes a shrill repetitive noise:

When I pick the detachable piece off the stand the shrill repetitive noise stops and it speaks to me with a very faint voice, so faint in fact I have to hold the detachable piece to my ear to hear it.

The voice says "put the kettle on, make tea".

I obey the command:

Then Linda arrives:

This has been happening for weeks now.
