Blue Moon Baritone Ukulele Updated.

I really want to like this uke, but I don't.

Even after cutting the bridge down to a sliver the action is far to high anywhere above the 5th fret.
It sounds muffled and heavy.

I decided to have one last try at improving it.
I replaced the machine heads:

Which wasn't strictly necessary but it looks nice.

I fitted a set of Aquila strings:

The new strings have probably made the most significant overall improvement to this instrument.
Still not enough of an improvement for me to want to use this uke on a regular basis though.
