Super Vision! : In The Beginning...

Errr...
My interim Mobile Supervisor position started today. I'm still not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be doing at the moment.
The handover went smoothly with me still having no idea what the guy I was taking over from did at all.
All the teams I'm responsible for are all well established, know what their doing, and need little, if any, interference from me.
The 'snarky' emails have dried up.
My phone only rang once today and it wasn't about a 'problem'.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Part of me now looks like this:
That's better.
I now have lots of time on my hands to investigate the computerised contract management system in depth. I was given scant training when first introduced to it, mainly the bit concerned with wages, but understanding the system is key to understanding how to run a company like this.
The company monitors cleaning standards and documents employee visits on a custom Samsung Galaxy app (introduced 3 months ago) that feeds into the main system. I was part of the system's initial trials and, given that I didn't understand the computer system, survived it quite well.
This is a key-stage learning period.
I'm going to enjoy this....
