Bognor has several things to commend it.
Does this councillor need counselling?
Bognor has a bracing sea-front with a beautiful bandstand.
It has a railway station, as well as frequent and convenient bus links.
Tucked away inland you will find a helpful guitar/fretted instrument shop.
Near the station is the heavy-side depot of a reputable builder’s merchant, as well as the best model/craft shop on the south coast.
Bognor still has its Post Office, several churches, a police station, adequate public conveniences and many hostelries.
Last time I visited Bognor I detected no ‘dark satanic mills’, (Blake, W. 1808.)
(Is LEC still there?)
I also know a number of delightful people who live in this so-called ‘dump’.
I feel a ‘Readers Letter’ coming on!
(Oh, I nearly forgot about a well-known leisure complex.)
