Is that on the outside of the cibicle or the inside?

At work, we have signs that natter on about not throwing paper towels in the toilets on the inside sides of the doors of the cubicles (the men's ones, anyway.) I've been tempted to add my own Please do not throw this sign in the toilet!

It's on the inside of the door.

My phone-camera makes a (loud) shutter noise when a picture is taken and probably made the other 'visitors' wonder what I was up to.

You should have chortled loudly and said, "Wait'll I show Louise!"

I'm considering changing my phone's camera sound to something else, and setting my default ring tone to the shutter sound.

And now I've finished considering that.

I visited Chichester railway station today.
I explored the gents' loos on both the north and south platforms whilst waiting for my train.
(Well, these unfortunate delays were considerable. One has to occupy time somehow!)

There were many signs:
1. CCTV in operation ...
2. Smoking is illegal in these premises.
3. Owing to repeated vandalism, this facility will be locked after 2100 hours.
4. These toilets may be cleaned by persons of another gender.
5. Kindly only place in the toilet that which you have previously consumed.
6. This water is very hot.
7. Slippery when wet.
8. PRESS HARD TO FLUSH.

I discovered several penetrations in the doors of both cubicles 2, some of which might have been produced by an industrial stapling machine.
BUT - To my regret, I did not encounter a ‘mystery event’ – nor even a horizon!

OK, I made some of that up, or borrowed from elsewhere.
