Totally unrelated to which, I just encountered the sentence, "I'm thinking of getting a recumbent road bike," and I misread "recumbent" as "recombinant."
That sent my mental imagining down the rabbit hole for a bit and had me thinking who might be able to produce a recombinant bicycle.
Then I remembered your contraptions and figured I'd pass along the challenge so's I could get back to complaining about the heat.
As soon as le' Tour is over I'll get the boys in the lab on it.. I'd recommend a recumbent. Friend of mine had a Speedy (tadpole). I was doing 65 mph on a decent my recumbented friend overtook me and left me behind. (They don't go up hill well though.)
