Two small cupboards, an extractor and an exciting silver pipe.
We're back in gear.
The exciting silver pipe is causing us a bit of head-scratching.
It's still only half the length it will eventually be when it reaches the hole in the wall
We both like it.
It's shiny and we like shiny things but what will our friends think of us if we leave it exposed?
Sod what anybody else thinks.
It's our kind of 'feature'.
Heck, add MORE pipes, as desired. Label them intriguingly.
ReplyDeleteOh yes leave it exposed. I built a bath in our palapa in Mexico out of concrete and with all exposed piping for all to see. I did not care much for the color of concrete but I loved the exposed pipes.
ReplyDeleteWe like the silver pipe too, just keep it clean, looking forward to seeing it all in real life!!!
ReplyDeleteTry Kitchen Facelifts and Renewels in Chichester Road for the doors, pricey but they can do them to your sizes...
ReplyDeleteI quite understand your desire for shiny things, but, as time goes on, with the best will in the world, it will become less shiny, and probably a bit greasy which won't be quite as delightful. You could wrap it in a single layer of clingfilm, or would that melt?
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I like JustJohn's suggestion of more pipes. You could pretend you're re-enacting a scene from 'Brazil'. You could dress up as a guerilla plumber and sporadically appear in the kitchen brandishing a wrench and looking furtive.
Fair comment WH.
ReplyDeleteLinda wants to paint it to look like a snake.
I'm liking Linda more and more all the time.
